This looks very good! Any plans to come out with an sh-9 to replace the sh-8? I would love to replace my current su8/sh-8 combo when a stack is available.

SH-9 has been announced by Shenzhen Audio on their Twitter or FB post if I'm not wrong. It has the same LCD panel as the SU-9

I almost purchase the M500 but when I saw Amirm's review of the SU-9, I'm sold. The SU-9 will pair perfectly with my JDS Labs Atom.

This sets a very aggressive price point for a DAC that, on paper, seems to feature the best of the best. DSD 512, MQA, AptX Bluetooth, a good-looking display, Xmos USB receiver, and balanced operation. Looks hard to beat, and Amir’s review certainly suggests it sounds perfect.

I'm enjoying it so far filters are well implemented. System is USB out into Topping D10 -> Coax Out into SU-9 Vol set to 99 [Pre-Amp mode set to FIXED] Slow Linear Filter XLR Out -> Mojlnir CCS Modded SRM-007tA -> ES Lab ES-1A

Being that the modius is simply a straight DAC without all the bells and whistles of the the SU-9, do you feel the extra features in the SU-9 are worth twice the price of a modius?

My review is up. I've compared it to the M200 and Chord Mojo primarily.
