What IC are you using? I assume you are going from the iMod iPod to the Supermicro IV and then to your ER4S. Correct?

i'm using a 4" 5 strand silver to neutrik right angled connectors. the neutrik is a bit small tho.

Maybe you'll want to try an ALO model.

i'll get the jack replaced first, then see how things go.

i'm not really into $120 ic's. i've heard good things about revelation audio. if i'm feeling cheap i'll make my own. out of vampire (or cryo if i knew where to get some). can't be hard right?

Hey Bellsprout, how would you compare iMod's lineout to ZVM lineout, through the Supermicro?

The Revelation Audio 99.999% Cryo Silver is fantastic, so is ALO Cotton IC. I guess the Revelation has a bit more detail, is more compact, and it is cheaper. The ALO Cotton IC is a little bit warmer, a bit bulkier, and more expensive.

As an alternative give Fitz a try with his silver plated copper, outstanding sound at a fraction of the cost.

I recall somewhere that cryo silver does not offer a noticeable benefit like cryo copper does.

MY imod - more detailed, but that's about it

other imods i've heard - more detailed, more transparent, smoother...and just really worth every penny

wait a week or 2 and i'll see if a new cable and headphone jack doesn't "wow" me

I spoke to Brad about the cryo/silver IC, and he said the price was $89 not $79 -_-

still cheaper than ALO, however, so I'll give it some thought if I don't get a better deal

the iMod is on its way back to Vinnie right now. Expecting some great things *fingers crossed*

Is shipping included? If so yours is going to Australia! mine traveled about 75 miles south of his place. Also, did you request righ angle elbows?

Regardless, the Revelation Cable is excellent.
