Hi,
I'm new here. I'm an Audiophile. But I do my music listening through speakers. Headphones to me are for background listening. I once bought myself Sennheiser HD600s, and while they were terrific, they just weren't for me. I've used your resource in the past, but I've always found what I was looking for and never needed to post. I've hit a bit of a roadblock and I'd appreciate some buying advice.

I run about 10 miles a day, and I've made it through these years with a cable attached. Over the years, the players have changed, but the headphones haven't. From mini disc, to a dedicated mp3 player, to mp3 playback from my cell phone. Seeing as how bluetooth has simplified things, I'd like to make the switch to wireless.

I do have a couple prerequisites.
1. I'd like earphones, the sort that rest on the outer rim of the ear canal. Not the tiny rubberized things that you insert into the canal itself.
2. I wouldn't mind a neckband, or the kind without any band at all, or just the cable between earphones. But I do not want a traditional headband over the top of my head.
3. A microphone would be a plus, but if there's a worthwhile setup that comes to turns without a mic, it wouldn't be a dealbreaker.
4. Out on the road, quality isn't a huge concern. I'm using stock Motorola and Samsung headsets, and it makes little difference to me. Idea is just to ease the monotomy of the daily run. So I'm not looking to splurge. No hard and fast number, but as a guideline, maybe 60 US$

I've scoured the net for days and I can't find much by way of choice. All the runners websites recommended AKG, JLabs, Monster, Audio Technica, JayBird etc. But absolutely everything had inner-canal type earphones.

The only thing I chanced upon was a Sony SBH70, and the earpieces are an usual design. From the images, I can't tell if this is for me.

Then I looked into Bluetooh Adaptors/Receivers. Not many resources for these. They speak highly of Mpow, Tao and Aukey. But none of them have a clip. The only two that I came across that have a clip are the Jumblr and Avantree. Most of these have inbuilt microphones too, so that's covered. But that still brings me to buying a pair of earphones.

Do I need to worry about compatibility of these bluetooth adaptors/receivers. On the off chance that it matters, I'm using a Huawei Honor 5c, which, under bluetooth specifications reads v4.1, A2DP, LE.

So I'm pretty open to the idea of bluetooth earphones OR bluetooth receiver+earphones.

I'd really appreciate all your thoughts and inputs. Be it about Sony SBH70, or the adaptors, or anything else I have not chanced upon yet.

Thank you.
Gokul Lalwani.
