Ok, that's also because I'm italian and I'm proud when we can do great technology in headphones market... I think I will never be able to buy this amp, but it's one of the most interesting thing I've seen: the Rudistor RP1000.

Output balancend and unbalanced, quado mono architecture, configurable sound footprint to match your taste/headphone (that's really the most interesting thing, imho).

You do not need to get a preamp...about the configuration, the amp has some jumpers inside, and depending on how you set them, you will get a different voicing on the amp modifying the harmonic distortion pattern, depending on the preference, or headphone to be used...
