I would think so.... bowls make them sound tinny enough. Flats FTW!

I did tried them with my SR-100. The sound wasn't too bad, not much thinner but much more laid-back, a bit lack of body, less bass, wider soundstage, nice instrument separation but it kind of killed the HP1000 drivers magic.

I asked Todd about getting the bagels for my RS-1 and he said that he wouldn't recommend the bagels for any Grado but the GS-1000. A true gentleman saying that for a potential buyer.
Todd is awesome ...

indeed, bagels with RS-1 is a nooooooo go.

Yeah, didn't make a big difference. I didn't fully enclose the angled part of the bagles though (hard to do this with tape), so a silicon mod might work better. I didn't like the extra resonance the tape mod gives the bass on my SR80 though, makes it less resolving to my ears.
