Alex Rosson's first batch of his RAD-0 planar magnetic headphones are finally shipping.

I recently purchased number 24 of 100. The hardest thing in purchase was deciding on color. I will post with pics and review latter.

I had Audeze LCD X but enjoy the Rosson more. I like the bass and even better when bass boost is used.

I've heard all of Audeze's line-up and the LCD-X is still my favorite of the bunch.

And if these sound better than those, then....

Looks like a cross between Audeze and Monolith.

They aren’t Audeze heavy and won’t slide off. It’s little more clamp force but HE1000 comfortable.

They are efficient with xlr connection vs 3.5 mm se. I wish they posted spl.

I don’t know if having high wattage amp helps with efficiency. I’m currently using ifi Ican pro. They claim 14 watts. With single ended cable I have to use gain switch. With xlr I don’t have to.
