I was wondering if this amp was any good.

I'm thinking about using it with my MS1.

Would it affect the sound a lot?

how is it compared to cmoys??

I have this amp. It sounds acceptable after running continuously for about a week (not sure if it's break in or just leaving it on all the time -- I just leave it on).

Adding a better, regulated power supply to it significantly improves the sound (it comes with a cheapie "Made in China" wall wart). This is true of any headphone amp, of course.

Overall, if you need something under $60, and in particular have a use for 4 outputs, it's not bad (very solidly built), but the rated output impedance suggests it will drive high impedance cans very poorly. I haven't compared it against anything else -- at this point I'm waiting on a Creek OBH-11. I didn't like the way the Rolls sounds connected to my PC soundcard (warm and mushy, significant detail loss) but it sounds better hooked to the phono stage in my preamp (record out jacks), possibly another impedance matching issue.

I posted a review of the HA-43 when I first got it, see here:
