Hi there!

Up for sale is a Roland Edirol R-09HR sound recorder with a binaural microphone made using Audio Technica mics.  I purchased these a few years ago with the intent of playing around with holophonic recording, but it never materialized.

The Roland R-09HR sound recorder will record in resolutions up to 24 bits and 96 kHz.  It has a built-in stereo electret condenser microphone, and it can also accept external microphones and provide plug-in power if needed.  More info about the recorder can be found here:

The binaural microphone was assembled by The Sound Professionals using a pair of mini Audio Technica mics.  The part number for the microphone is SP-BMC-12 and specs can be found here:

Included with the sale are the following items, all in very good condition:
  1. Roland Edirol R-09HR recorder
  2. Sound Professionals SP-BMC-12 binaural microphone with Audio Technica mics and lapel clips (no windscreens)
  3. DC power adapter
  4. Remote control
  5. USB A to mini B cable
  6. 1/8" to RCA stereo cable
  7. 512 MB SD card
  8. Instruction manuals

I am asking for $140 for the complete set (I think these cost me about $350 originally).  That price includes PayPal fees and shipping anywhere within the continental U.S.  Unfortunately, I do not have the original box for the recorder, but I will make sure everything is packed securely.

Thanks for your interest!  Please feel free to PM me if you have any questions.
