Hi all
I'm new here and have been given a pair of Skullcandy Rocnation aviators to repair.

The audio jack has come apart, don't know what they were doing, but they asked if I could repair them for them (friends).

I've replaced jacks before but these look different, TRRS, 4 coloured wires:

Red
Red/Green
Green
Copper

Anyone know what goes where?

I've got a cheapo TRRS jack, just need the layout.

Thanks in advance.

The cable on those is detachable, right?

Guessing that either the red or green is left, and the other is right.  The copper is probably ground.  The other is likely for the inline mic.

If you have a multimeter, you can likely tell which wire is R/L/G based on the removable end on the cup, the other is for the mic.

Standard iPhone trrs pinout is:

Tip:  Left
Ring1:  Right
Ring2:  Ground
Sleeve:  Mic

Looks like it's the same for Android, so that's what I would go with.

Hi Liquidzoo

Thanks for the reply.

No, the cable is not removable on these phones, I don't really want to take the cans apart to check the wiring, but if I have to, I have to.

Cheers
