Well having read the major threads of both the M3 and M^3, I am yet to find a good/direct comparison of these two amps. So can anyone offer something to shed the light?
Is there a difference between the M3 and M^3 apart from cosmetics? (Sorry if that question = dumb but hey...)
Any input = good. Thanks

M3 and M^3 refer to the same amp. The actual name of the amp is M³, but since the ³ character doesn't appear on a normal keyboard, people usually just type some variation of the name - M3, M^3, MMM, etc...

Being a DIY amp, the M³ can come in many shapes, sizes, and configurations. Here's what my M³ with σ11 looks like. (The cases resemble oversized Little Dot II amps

At Amb's M³ page, there's a gallery section with images of a wide variety of M³ amps.

edit: Actually that picture of my amp isn't quite current. I've replaced the volume control knob with one of a more appropriate size.

hey Lil'Knight, who is the builder of your amp? The combo looks nice

Builder is Nate, n_maher here. I buy it used, not directly from him.

Rockhopper makes some serious amps but he's not the only one who builds M^3. I'm lovin' MisterX's.
