First found out about these jewels from a very enthusiastic Head-Fi'er (TWIN) on the Chinese/Asian thread. I normally don't jump on IEMs based on one persons enthusiasm, but in this case I did (and I'm glad I did). Never had heard of Rock before, but there are a ton of new Asian brands and models coming out all the time so that's no surprise. Typically, these are to be found on Aliexpress for around $13. I don't like to wait so I bought mine off Amazon US for about $19.

Packaging/Accessories
Packaging and accessories are nothing to write home about. Just a basic cardboard box with a plastic insert to keep things in place. I only got s/m/l ear tips and some paper work along with the IEMs themselves. Some have reported getting a soft pouch.

Build Quality
Build quality is excellent. The main cable is covered in fabric with a 90 degree plug. The ear pieces themselves feel like a porcelain type material (I believe the Zircon name is derived from this). Microphonics is very low.

Sound Quality
I would describe the sound as fun, engaging and borderline basshead. I normally use a little bass boost with my other main IEMs (i.e. KC06A, Dunu Titan 1). Not so with the Zircons. They provide plenty of low end without any boost. For my preference, the mid-bass is nicely balanced with sub-bass. Some have reported too much mid-bass so YMMV.

Clarity and detail retrieval are above average for this price range. Not quite the caliber of the KC06As or the Titans. But, at this price point, there isn't anything negative to say.

The mids and vocals are very clear and what I would call natural. I would also consider the mids to be slightly recessed compared to my KC06As. Nothing though like other IEMs in this price category.

The treble seems to be rolled off compared to my other IEMs. However, this isn't a bad thing. It makes for a very non-fatiguing listening experience. There is still enough treble extension to pick up cymbals and other high pitched instruments well.

Conclusion
I listen to a lot of electronica so these were a good fit for me. Others have mentioned that they do Jazz and Classical well. Metal not so much due to the fast bass runs. However, for under $20, I just don't think there is too much to complain about.

Apparently, Rock also makes a model called the Mula. I have never heard this model but if anyone gets it feel free to post impressions in this thread.

Thanks for reading!

Yes, I intend to dress up the OP later when I can get to my laptop.

Everybody's talking about making a thread for these but don't seem to have the testicular fortitude to actually do it. Well I like them, so I will. Bring on the comments /impressions!

Mate, please, don't use the word "Luxury" in the title. These are $12-15 earphones, not $1000. The word isn't part of the products name anyhow. They may look and feel luxurious but they are definitely not meant for "Luxury" suckers who spend thousands of dollars on some logos on a piece of plastic.

The seller I got the Zircon from for $12, upped the price to $15 thus will not recommend him, but here's a decent looking seller:

The Mula are brand new and are not on AliExpress yet, but I advice you to get them through a Taobao Agent, which would take a little longer to deliver, like MisterTao: http://www.mistertao.com/beta/pages/item/521864409192.html

OP updated with a mini-review.  It's not Twister grade, but hopefully it'll do for this budget wonder.

The "Luxury" expression came from Aliexpress.  Anyway, point taken so I've removed it from the title.

@slowpickr Great update to the op! I'm probably not going to be picking these up anytime soon, but the impressions have me intrigued. Looking forward to hearing more about their second model once people get their ears on them.

Thanks Scrambler.  Hopefully, others will have input to this thread.  Everyone kept talking about the need for it so I took the plunge.

I may eventually pick up the FXH30s.  Going to wait a while because I've been spending too much lately on IEMs.  The Aliexpress CKR9LTDs and Massdrop Brainwavz grab bag should be arriving today!

Subscribed.

Also ordered both Zircon and Mula. Should get Zircon soon (within a week), but I'm really interested in Mula based on freq response graph and build. Mula look really nice.

Yeah but can they be trusted? Do they provide a tracking number? Any buyer protection?
