Just got the new Rob Thomas album on Dual Disc and I can't get the cd side to rip with EAC. Has anyone found a work around? If there's not one I'm taking it back. While I don't mind the DVD-A content I really want to be able to load the album on my Zen and I can't since it won't let me rip it. GRRR!

Hmm, that blows, the only DualDisc I have is the new Priest album, and well you saw me rip that!

Perhaps your drives just aren't taking to the disc, as it is out of spec from normal redbook CDs? You can come try it here if you want.

Maybe, but I almost want to return it purely on principle... I don't want to buy CD's that don't adhere to redbook... For crying out loud, SACD hybrids work just fine, why should we buy into the hokey crap so the RIAA can have it's way. I bought the damn CD and I should be able to rip it to my HDD so I can play it on my Zen or I should be given the choice to buy a regular red book cd not this Dual Disc only crap that doesn't work correctly on a lot of drives... I can't get it to rip on either one of my drives and they aren't even from the same manufacurer.
