Road To Perdition Soundtracks, anyone heard it?

Hi, have listen to Thomas Newman's Road To Perdition soundtrack CD and i think it's a superb cd. Realy relaxing and classical feeling about it, specialy :Rock Island, 1931: & :Road To Chicago: & :Ghosts:

One of my favorite CD's!

Anyone have some fav's on this cd and like the work?

Ohh, and one question, what grene/type of music is this? and where can i find more of this type of music?

I havent yet.
But the AMERICAN BEAUTY soundtrack is one of my all time favorites as well as PAY IT FOWARD.

Thomas Newman is very under rated

Yepp, i agree there. Hmm, tinking about what other movies that i have seen that i could download soundtrack to, but sticking whit the Road To Perdition CD so far

Hmm, What other great movies have Thomas Newman been involved into music soundtrack that can be familliar to the American Beauty and Road To Perdition?

Havent listen or watched the PAY IT FOWARD movie but will be looking forwart do watch the trailer

Road to Perdition, along with the other Thomas Newman albums mentioned, deserve to be played on quality systems. Actually, I think the Road to Perdition album doesn't sound good unless it's played back on decent equipment, especially considering the dynamic range of the recording. Also, I still can't get over the deep bass guitar in the American Beauty soundtrack.

His music is always essential to the tone of a movie, like other great film composers.
