- Elpispandora’s cables and products will be discounted 20% for the duration of the Rocky Mountain Audio Festival (October 5-7, 2018). Not sure if this is show only or on the web site too.

- Friday October 5, at 6pm, to coincide with the 2018 Rocky Mountain Audio Fest, Soundings Fine Audio Video (8101 East Belleview Avenue, Suite X-1, Denver, CO 80237), a few blocks away from the Denver Tech Center Marriott, is having an open house. Rich Maez from Boulder Amplifiers, Terry Medalen, Jon Derda, and Norbert Schmied from MoFi (Primare, Isotek, and Dr. Feickert), and Bob Graham from Graham Engineering and TechDas will be on hand to answer questions throughout the evening. Drinks and hors d'oeuvres will be supplied by Great Northern.
- Zu Audio: pikes peak room on the mezzanine. Nothing announced, but they traditionally have an after hours party on Saturday night. Check with them for details. Generally extremely eclectic music that they expect people to dance to, but so eclectic, it just weird.
- RMAF, Newvelle Records and Nordost Present: Dave Douglas & Elan Mehler with John Gunther @ The Hilton Garden Inn, Saturday, October 6
Nordost is thrilled to bring Rocky Mountain Audio Fest attendees a live music experience that is not to be missed on Saturday, October 6 at 2 pm or 6:30 pm.
The concert will be the debut of a new jazz ensemble, featuring accomplished and acclaimed musicians who will be performing some never-before heard works from Dave Douglas as well as music from Elan Mehler’s Newvelle release, “Piano Noir”. The quintet will dance between intersections of style and genre, making for a unique mix of jazz and folk music, poetry and improvisation, prose and composition.
