Around 9-10k when the price was before it went up.
You won’t get one at this time for 9K used. They are still the same amp no upgrade. Only change is a XLR input. But the amp is a single ended design so XLR input is only for ease of connect-ability.

Look at the Zahl HM-1. People that bought them at lower prices still base there used ones on the current market. There has been a number of those that have been sold on the used market, to include mine. Although it’s a great amp. Just not in the same league as the Riviera,

The AIC-10 very rarely up for sale on the used market. When they do they are picked up quickly. Base your decision on the condition of the unit and if it’s a price you can afford or live with. If you find one between 10k & 13k your golden.

I was lucky and got mine before the recent price hike. it's also very important to have a good relationship with your dealer; treat him well and he'll treat u well. got my aic10 balanced in dark titanium for just under 12k brand new including shipping. took a small hit with import tax but still big discount over rrp.

unfortunately it's very unlikely to get that price anymore, based on recent conversations. am thankful I got mine when I did; the aic10 is truly a fantastic amplifier.

That looks like the SE version

it doesn't matter - the inside is the same. unless you are opposed to using RCA cables, there is just no difference. $10k is pretty rare for a used unit (though seems like fair deal for 3 yr old amp in good condition). if legit, worth going for it. given new MSRP is $20k, perhaps bit less if you have an inside track with a dealer, and that absolutely no one is selling these units, you will likely pay in the $11-14k for a used unit. Pure guess though as there really isn't an active used market for them 🤷‍♂️

I second this. Talked to many dealers recently in the US. You’re not getting new under 15k. Maybe 14.5 if you have a great relationship.
Used will prob climb to the 12.5-13 mark. Depends on the age of the amp, condition, seller, etc.

You must look at it this way anyone who spent the money on the Riviera is not usually the type that would abuse the unit. There also isn’t a larg number of them out in the wild. So that keeps the used market for them on the higher end. Especially since most don’t sell them off. They are an outstanding unit with such versatily and only one tube is needed to change the sound to anyone’s liking.

Because this amp not only best in term of sound quality but also versatility, you can use it to drive most hp and some easy to drive speakers. So the owner if they are tired of hp they might want to keep it to use with speaker later.
