I have this live concert DVD that I legally own. I am wondering how to go about ripping the audio off of the DVD so that I can convert it into mp3.

I tried searching for a tutorial on a DVD/computer site i visit but didn't find one related to the audio process I want to do.

Does anyone know of a tutorial for it out there?

What you will probably need to do is:

1) Use a program to rip the .vob files off the disc
2) Use another program to demux the audio tracks from the video
3) Use (yet another) program to decode the audio from AC3 or whatever it is in

At that point you can then make MP3s or burn CDs or whatever. You should be able to find some good info and all 3 of these tools someplace like doom9.net or anywhere else that has instructions on things like making backup copies of DVDs or doing MPEG4/DivX/SVCD encoding.
