I agree with waiting if you can. New players must be on the horizon by this point. The SlimX is decent, but I'm not impressed with the sound quality. I've never tried the Rio 250

the new sl-ct800 / 700 panasonic looks almost too good to be true. A replacement for the dcj01 cant be that far off either. Wait if you can!
