See here. Not a bad deal. NewEgg is $140, etc.

Rio is now out of the portable player business ... but there's still stock to be sold. Pretty good stock, too (in most cases -- what happened, Cutlass?). As with any electronics, get a decent product replacement plan from the vendor.

i think it just had a temporary tweak, i tried resetting it to no avail, but once i tried some hours later after leaving it to sit, in my resentment- in my freezer, it turned on and has been working since.

Is the CE2100 Mac compatible? Rio's page doesn't mention Mac compatibility, but B&H Photo & Video's page says its compatible with Mac OSX...

Hey, I ordered one of these when this thread first went up, and kudos to Blessingx for posting the link.

The form factor is ideal. Nothing snags or catches, and the controls are easy to use on the go. The included software simply works in my application. Sound quality really remarkable with my ER-6is. There's no lack of bass, and the little player puts out a surprising amount of volume. The scale goes to 30, and I'm routinely listening between 14 and 18. Listening to the Prokofiev Cello Concerto at present, and this thing sings.

FWIW, Rio's site accepted my registration and provided an email confirmation.

According to this it is.
Seamless integration with both PC and Mac platforms
Glad it's working out Bill.
