I'm studying right now and i just plugged my im716s into my computer and i get a really weak signal out of my right earbud. Theres very faint music coming out of it. Does altec lansing have an warranty for these? I've had them for 1-2 months

Try replacing the filter. Usually thats the problem.

alright i'll give it a shot, but they seemed to work fine yesterday. Would it make such a huge different that almost all the sound is blocked? i'm using them on my computer with a 5/95% balance. Sigh now i dont want to study.

Some people have experienced having the sound completely go out even when it was working fine the day before. If everything fails you could just return them to AL.

if i return to AL do i just mail them back in their original packaging with a warranty card or whatever? I've never dealt with warranties so I dont know what the procedure is

also i modded my flanges would they nullify the warranty for something like that?
