Hello fellow Listeners,
 
I am looking to improve my System and would welcome any suggestions:
 
I am running the following Chain:
 
Iphone 4 + Fostex HP-P1 + Sennheiser HD 650
 
Most likely I should invest in a stronger amp? I like warm, "soft" Sound perhaps less analytic but more "tubey".

What do you want to improve?
 
More/better bass? More/better treble? More/better mids? Bigger soundstage?
 
There are plenty of threads here for amp recommendations for the HD650 if you want to keep them, try the search function
 
Edit: Yes, you will have to get a stronger amp to make the HD650 sing.

yes i like deep powerful but dry bass and soft creamy highs....
 
i think i can Bypass the amp section of the fostex and just use it as a DAC.
 
I could spare around 500$ for an amp and it shall use Tubes
