Questyle people, can anyone recommend a better amp for Sennheiser HD650 headphones between the Bottlehead Crack 1.1 speedball and the LaFigaro 339?
I am not getting too many responses on the HDMI650 thread. I will probably use the QP1R as a source.

That's OK. I've ordered three today. lol.

You have bought more Questyle QP1Rs (for personal use) than anyone in the world i reckon. Deserve a Guinness Book of Records entry :)

Darren, order one, then put black masking tape over the part of display showing battery. Pretend it's not there, problem solved, then enjoy the music! You know it's the best sounding stand-alone DAP whatever other Dap you try or buy.

Based on experience, I’d recommend the Black Label (very powerful and flexible), and the Pro iCAN (hybrid juggernaut).

How do these price out? I'd be hard-pressed to spend anything over $1,000

$549 for the Black Label, and $1,699 for the Pro iCAN. You can purchase a Black Label and a Nintendo Switch, and still pay less than $1,000. :beerchug: :o2smile:

I know what you're saying, it's just having to remember how long you have used it for before recharging. Is it bad for the battery to charge it before its really low?

Buy Two, then when one runs out use other!

Im not actualy joking. I'm using QP1R now directly into my Tag McLaren hifi. (Using Hugo's for Headphones and iems). When it runs out, it's annoying but I just use a cheap Pioneer Dap beside it, until its recharged.

As of now there is no wisdom, or not for us. But if you buy a new one you probably get a device that is fully working, as the majority seems to not have any problems anymore with the newest firmware.
