  i'm not sure how bassy the pfe012 are... at least to my ears... i think they really need to change the name from perfect bass- to something like buttery smooth or something... its not that bassy
 
to me its a leaner take on the conventional bassy/consumer oriented sound that so many either love or hate

Tom22, get the grey filter and the Comply T130 tips and you'll be surprised how much better it sounds than the stock PFE022 with green filters.

I stocked up on grey and black filters for the 2 extra pair I got my daughter - she had been going through an IEM a month almost and these? let's say it made it through the last 4 months of 8th grade and summer and now the 2nd week of 9th grade. They are built very well. I have had to change filters twice...
 
God, kids have some waxy ears.....
