NuPrime (created out of NuForce high-end) is coming out with a $499 headphone amp HPA-8 that is as good as others costing many times in price.  We decided to take the headphone amp section of the DAC-10H and make it into a standalone product. The reviewers from The Absolute Sound and Inner Fidelity singled out the headphone amp's capability so that prompted us to make it into a product and  this is the amp that will do it all. In that case IDA-16 is suitable for you.   Oh, we updated the USB driver (version 4.20) so it should work for Windows 8.1 now.  

 
What about windows 10 tho? is it a long shot?

I have an Audiobyte Black Dragon DAC/preamp/HT amp, and need an amp.
TheNuprime IDA-8 is considered, but inputs are a bit troublesome.

ST-10 looks more practical, but does it also sound better than the IDA-8?
