good review, but if you don't mind me saying so, a little one ended, I would have liked to see how metal goes on it, or symphonic rock, and perhaps a little more on the differences when driving the different types of headphones.

Would you classify Mogwai as more of a post rock or symphonic rock? I believe they are classified as a post-rock type group, but they have symphonic elements in their music, especially their use of dynamics and crescendos. The album used was "Young Team"

it almost makes me want to swap my Pinkie for one lol!

btw this paragraph should go above the Time Out paragraph, to stay with the rest of Bela's impressions, no?

"The GS-1 has great presence and vitality. On Bela Fleck's live track "Stomping Grounds", attacks are clean and fast, with transients neither hyped nor blunted, clearly conveying the live aspect here. The banjo's consistent 16th note lines are perfectly articulated to provide a lively pace and great rhythmic groove, with the band playing well within the pocket."

Probably post-rock or alternative.. I suppose I'm thinking more along the lines of symphonic metal than rock specifically.

Ryan, as always, your reviews are a great read. Nice job. The GS-1 sounds like an excellent amp. I hope I get an oppotunity to check one out at a meet.

Fantabulous.

I agree with most of the review... it does give a real good sense of dimensionality with its "lack of canvas".

Nice job!
