Review: Fischer Audio's DBA-02

I really don't think anyone needs to be scared, I've listened to two that sound the exact same as my old DBA. Those are the only 2 new ones I have listened to, and they are just random ones out of the box.

just want to share:

been comparing them with side by side with the shure se425
425 has better and smoother treble (less prone to sibilance)
425 has way better liquidy mids
dba has a bit more bass quantity
shures have bigger soundstage and depth
layering and instrument separation on 425 is better

overall dba02 is not far away to the 425's in terms of bang/buck

How long have you been listening to the DBA's?

Some reviewers say it's better than the 530's so I find this surprising.

Funny thread...
Discussions of sibilance...... then the definition. Playful 'threats' of reviewing cans not received. You guys crack me up!

@ Zoide's great idea. Yeah, I think I'll review the AM DB7 having never driven it. It looks killer, so what else is there to know.

All in fun.

Congrats to those who received them today or will tomorrow. You are a solid weekend + ahead of me.
Keep those wacky reviews coming in!

not surprised if people prefer the 425 even to the 535s, dual driver BAs seem to be more coherent overall to 3 driver BAs.

Yeah but does the 425 sound artificially sterile, neat and clean like the 530 did?  I like some natural organic texture and I don't mean grain, yuck.
