really? solos with midrange you must have gotten a defective pair lolz all the solos ive heard are muddy even muddier then my crossfades lol

Great review!
Seems I made a good choice picking the HD-25 (plus I paid them a bit less than 200$).I needed a good pair of headphones for portable and djing use (although I use them also at home for listening) and I'd say they're great.
The only thing they lack is a bit of ambient reproduction (don't know how to say it,sorry 

) as many closed-back cans do...
 
Good detailed sound and awesome listens btw

Soundstage/headstage. The HD25 doesn't have much in the way of either.
