Has anyone used the DACport Slim with a USB hub? It works fine when plugged directly into the laptop. When plugged in via a USB hub, it shows up but no sound.

I'm wondering if I need a powered USB hub.

Mine works fine being powered by USB.

I know this is a late reply but I just got off the phone with them and they told me to check out their Dacport HD instead, kinda disappointed.

I bought a used CEntrance DACport Slim. How do I know what firmware version is installed on it? What is the latest firmware version for the Slim? And another question. The 3.5 input is too loose. The headphone cable goes in and out of the connector very easily. Is this how the device is designed or did the previous owner ruin the connector? Thank you.

It's been awhile since I've sold mine but when I was using mine the headphone jack was generally looser than most that I've used fwiw.

Naturally, the latest driver version 9.0.6 is installed.

It looks like my Slim is from an early batch, because after the computer goes to sleep, it is not recognized. I read that firmware 0029 fixes this, but unfortunately, I can’t install it

PS I wrote to CEntrance, but they replied that this product is too old and that they no longer support it

Hooray! I was able to install the latest firmware version 0029 on my Slim. It was necessary to install the previous version of the driver 8.0.2 and then apply the firmware 0029. I figured it out on my own
