But ya know, I don't know what all the complaints are about how the movie is different from the book....duh! I still like em both.. and the thing about Gimli... I always read him as comic relief, always the first to complain, always the first to show a little fear, couldn't ride a horse and you have to know he probably had trouble seeing things.. yup, apparently myself and PJ were the only two to always read him as a little funny. A good dwarf, and a little funny.

So, did I read that correctly, that the scouring of the shire is back in? On one hand, of course I wanna see the hobbits bring out a can of whoop-ass, but on the other, wouldn't it kind of be anti-climatic seeing it on screen?
