I've had the JH5s for almost a year now and I'd like to try some JH13 Pros.  I'm planning to buy them 2nd hand so I went to Unique Melody to enquire about price for reshelling.
 
I thought I read that it costs around $80 USD on this forum?
 
UM is giving me a quote of 159 USD.  Is that right??  Also is there any other place I can do the reshelling?

You are thinking of Fisher reshells most likely.

In terms of quality, is UM much better than Fischer?  If it is, I will probably just go for UM since I've heard so many good things about them.

IMO, UM is more experienced and more consistently good.  They are also very skilled in tuning the sound of reshells.  If I was having JH13's reshelled, that's who they would go to.

UM includes shipping back to you in the price. Fisher does not and its $90 for the remold now.
