Looking for some feedback regarding replacing my ancient Corsair Vengeance 1300/1500/2100 headsets that are sadly no longer produced. I enjoyed them primarily because of their roominess and the plush velour material the earcups were constructed with. It felt like they were so large that my ears didn't even touch the sides, yet either way when I measure them the other day they were an average 6cm height by 5cm width. I understand that most people would like to recommend a pair of headphones and an alternative microphone but I would prefer to keep using a headset for now because I dislike having the extra wires, etc. for a separate mic. I will most likely not be using an amp with it unless its a necessity.

So far I have browsed many headsets including but not limited to the HyperX Cloud Flight, Arctis 7, Sennheiser Game One/37D, Sennheiser 373D, ATH-ADG1X, ATH-PDG1 (favorite so far), Beyerdynamic Custom Game and the MMX300 even though it is slightly out of my preferred price range of $200-250 USD. While I appreciate your help greatly I must preface honestly that I don't know much about terminology used here and absolutely don't consider myself to be an audiophile. I am predominantly just looking for the most comfortable headset possible that utilizes fabric/velour pads and has larger than average earpad dimensions to accommodate extra room for my ears. If you have any of the above headsets or could provide insight as to how they feel on the ears in terms of size/dimensions, weight and comfort I would greatly appreciate it. Most of the over ear closed back headphones I have tried seem to fit way too snugly and become uncomfortable too quickly for long term play. For reference I am currently wearing the Astro A50 (which I will be returning) for something more roomy when found.
