I have an ATH-AD900X that just recently had the headphone jack break off. I came upon the DIY forums, and I have only found places to buy the replacement casing; however, I have yet to find a decent tutorial or guide on how to correctly cut, strip and attach a new jack, and what parts I may need.
 
Can anyone give me some suggestions or links to do it? I do not wish to throw away a pair of headphones for something that can be fixed.

Ok, figured it out myself. Not the best job as it isn't perfectly situated, but the sound quality is good and I didn't manage to mess up my left and right wires
