I got an older set of eggos (D-77) and they started to short out a few years ago. I want to try and replace the plug in cable. Where can i get a fairly long Y cable? I want it to be atleast 3 meters long, decent quality with a right angle plug.

I didnt think of it till i got my D22s and it had Y cables directly to each can. It might be easier to just drill little holes and hardwire the Y cable to each can then to try and rewire the whole thing. Depends on the price and avlability of the cable what i will do.

This is what the cable looks like, its 1/8" mini on one side and the other i dont know What it is. Im not even sure if its the cable side plug or the female in the phones?

the plug on the right is sony's 'attempt' at forcing a new standard onto the pcdp industry - the 'micro plug'. some early sony pcdps only accepted micro plugs on the remote.

it is absolutely identical in function to any stereo plug, being a standard 3 conductor plug (L, R, ground), distinguising itself from the crowd only by it's exceptional flimsiness.
