Hi everyone,
New member here saying hello, and to ask a question I had a couple of years back I never figured out the answer to.
I used the Trufit Black old version on my Westone UM2s for many years without issue- by far the best fit I could find. When I ran out, I ordered some more, but when they arrived, they were 'new' versions with a slightly smaller diameter, so they didn't fit right, bass was crap etc.
Doesn't look like I can add a pic yet since I'm new, so I will try to explain myself.
The Trufit Black are now 12.6mm in diameter and are too small. The next up, the Red, are the same diameter, and the largest, the Orange, are too big at 15mm and hurt my ears, so I need something 13-14mm in diameter for my cavernous ear canal!
I've tried every Comply that'll fit my UM2s, (T100) and a number of other brands that are too big or too small. Apparently Westone state that only 1 in 15 million ears are not catered for, so don't I feel special
Just bought a high-def player which has prompted me to fix this once and for all, so I'm looking forward to your comments and suggestions.
Thanks!
Neil
