Hi everybody, I´m looking for new in-ear phones in order to replace my Bose.
I usually hear 80´s pop, brit pop, tecno. And I prefer bright highs and deep bass(sorry for my description, I´m beggining with this

).

These are the models that can be found in my city.
I´d like to hear your recommendations. By the way do anyone know the existence of fake units of these models? I´d like to avoid risks.

Well I usually hear 80´s pop and tecno.
About price range, well I´m limited to the mentioned below, because they are the ones that the stores sell in my city.

Is shipping an option? Where do you live?
EDIT: And out of that list, I'd go with the Bang & Olufsen because they're relatively new and don't have many reviews out. Just to see what they're like, you know? Good luck!

Yeah they do. I let the wear in for 26 hours the clarity is a bit better, but if it werent for the earbuds going all the way in my ear and the metal design part scratching my ears it would be totally worth it. The bigger eartips are awesome and scratch my ears less cause theyre bigger but they feel like suction cups to my ears and hurt hah. but then again ive never had fancy headphones over 20 bucks so i dont know what theyre supposed to be like.

I think NE8, S4i are clearly better than the rest of on your list and if you want clean neutral sound with lots of details then NE8 is great pick. But if you like overall fun sounding(warm rich bass)with better details then S4i are great IEMs.

Yes, I didn´t know about Nuforce. So I read the reviews, and as I prefer more bassed models, I thinking of the NE7-M and the Image 4S.
Also I´m thinking on the Future sonics FS1 HD, which I will add to the list.

Below is a list of price difference between internet prices and what I can find on my country. Because of importation taxes are high in my country(I guess close to 50% of declared price), I think that the models which are cheaper could be fakes. Well we know that there is plenty of fake Sennheisers, Bose, and Beats for instance.
But one of the interesting things of this list is how different is the relation between some models here, and outside. For instance the difference between the Akg and the the Future sonics, due to the little difference here it seems convenient to purchase the last one, besides I don´t know which could be better and supposing the internet prices reflect sound quality difference. As far as I know there no fake Future sonics but I doubt about fakes Akgs.

I´m think I´m going to define my buy between the red ones. I´d like to hear your opinions.

Finally I bought the Nuforce NE-7M
smile.gif

Right out of the box, it sounds better than the Bose. I also had to reduce the equalization, because the NU7 sounds too bassy with the same equalization used by the Bose.
I perceive that in regular(128k) ripped audio, the sound is almost the same in both earphones(boring), but with better quality ripped files(320k vbr), the NU7 shines, it has more detail, bass and highs than the Bose.

I use it with a Nokia 5310, so just in case that somebody else will try to use the same combination, it should be know that once the NU7 is plugged directly into the Nokia(it will show a "not compatible accesory" message) and the audio will sound through the telephones speakers. This is because the miniplug pin out is different between this Nuforce model and the Nokia model(the NU7 is Iphone compatible).

Then, there is a need to adapt both pin outs, and I found one way using an extension cable. I think that a double jack adaptor can be used as adaptor too. Using any of these, the left and right channels are driven to the earphones, while the mic/remote function is sacrified.
Don´t try to use the Nokia Mic cable that comes with the telephone, it doesn´t work.

I don´t know if the NU7 improves with the burning but if it does as the Bose did(the Bose sounded like a very cheap earphone the first time I used it, but after two weeks it improved amazingly) it would be incredible, as I´m very impressed on how good it sounds right now.

Bye!
