Hi all,

I have a pair of Equation Audio RP-22x headphones. They are the ones with the "double ear cushion", which look like this:

The inner earpad actually rests on my ears, and becomes uncomfortable after a while. I'm looking for replacement earpads, ideally circumaural.

The logical replacement part would be the pads from a RP-21, but I haven't had much luck finding them. I'm thinking about finding a similar pair of headphones with suitable earpads, and obtaining replacement earpads for them.

So, what are some potential candidates? The earcups are approximately 4" in diameter, and are circular in shape. The Sony MDR-v700 comes to mind, but I'd like to find some other potentials.

Thanks in advance.

Are the Beyer earpads for the DT250 or the 770?

The 250s are more rectangular, while the 770 are circular. So far I've only found the 250s, and am unsure whether they would fit the circular cups.

OT: I'm from Nashville too.
