Hi,

Does anyone know..................are there any third-party makers who sell replacement ear pads for the B&O H6 headphones that are SLIGHTLY larger than the ones that come with the H6?? The ear pads are great, but I feel like they're just a TINY bit too small. If they were just a little bigger, that would be incredible!

Please let me know if you do. I'd prefer ones even that are the size of the pads on the AKG K550s too. But they don't have to be that big, just bigger than the stock ones for the H6 are now.

Thanks!

Im guessig by your dp you resorted to the Mezes?

If so, whats the difference

You guessed right my friend! lol

Honestly, the H6 2nd Gens were excellent but their comfort level became an issue though I didn't notice it initially. The headband is ribbed on the bottom which would poke into my skull (not fun lol) at times, and the ear cups were too small. Over-ear my ass lol, those were on-ear headphones if you ask me. A friend of mine experienced the same thing and he ended up returning them too. I had mine longer so had to sell them.

I went back to a more neutral headphone with the AKG K551, and was content with them for months until a few mos ago when a friend on here told me about the 99 Cs. I tried them out and although they needed to be custom EQ'd to really win me over, win me over they DID. lol This review I posted will answer ALL your questions. They are VERY similar to the 2nd Gen H6s to be honest, so if you like the H6's sound, then I'd strongly suggest you get a pair of 99 Cs and try them out for yourself.

Let me know if you have any questions.

For most people the h6's are over ear.. at least thats what ive heard. I have relaticely small ears and although they are over ear for me, but just barely. I love the sound signature and they really feel like a opened back pair of phones but im just worried about the leather ear cups going bad in the future cuz theres literally no options for them whatso ever... i know what you mean about the headband and it probably could be troublesome for some people but im fine with it. To me the H6's are the best looking pair of closed backs aesthetically.

I'll definitely give the mezes a try whenever i get the oppurtunity... looking to buy their new iems that are gonna be comingg soon

Ok. I mean, if they're comfortable to you, then that's a plus! But yeah you should check out the 99 Cs with my custom EQ too.

Yeah the Meze 12 is really cool. They say it's like the 99 Cs but on a smaller scale. What's the new one gonna be called? Price?

Not much info out yet from meze but pictures were shown from some audio meet in hong kong, if im not mistan they will also be releasing some planar magnetic headphones too i think, but anyways the iems look gorgeous, come in a few different colors too and with detachable braided cables. Im hoping they stay within their afforable meze price range..

Nice! I think I saw one headphone "leaked image" but not IEMs. Detachable is a big plus as usually the first thing to go bad is the wire. lol

Yeah hopefully not too pricey. I agree that Meze prices their headphones really well considering the materials used as well as the excellent design.
