It's about 1.5 years since I got my TF10s and the stock cable is finally giving out.

I have about $60 in my budget to spend on a new cable, can I get some recommendations conUS? I was thinking about Dark Lords, but these the only pair I can find

is kinda sketchy to me.

or else I'll get Westone ES1 cables

If anyone thinks it's REALLY worth it to spend even more, please feel free to recommend. I'd like to know what else I can get into.

This cable is on its way to me as I type this. After 2 Fiio cables going bad it was time for a change. I have the tracking info and have spoken with the seller.

Have you considered the chris_himself cables? I know that you stated that your budget was $60 (Chris_Himself's cables are $85 shipped); however, the chris_himself cables seem to be highly regarded on these forums.

Here are some reviews on the cables: http://chrishimselfaudio.blogspot.com/p/reviews.html

I actually just ordered myself a set from Chris due to the reviews that I've read on this board.

I am also looking for a replacement as my original cables gave out.  I was searching the UE sight and came across these!

These replacements are in both of our budgets ($30) but I am not sure if the 48" Black Replacement Cable (Before September 1, 2010) will work.  They look the same to me but not sure.  Anyone have any experience with these?

I take it I should get silver played over silver hybrid/interlace cables if I were to get a chris_himself cable

I'd rather get Westone Epic cables just because they seem to be slightly better.

how long ago did you order it? also, is silver played the must cheaper, but still very good alternative to full silver?

I ordered on the 11th, I have never had a cable with silver in it. Personally, I dont buy cables cause I expect a change in sound. I didnt notice a difference between the stock and my Fiio cable, sound wise. I just hate the stock cable for other issues.

pretty good chance I'll just end up with EPICs for the price and time it'll take to get to me. or dark lords if I have the patience. I just wished they had a white/clear version of the cable

Sonethings happened to the seller sunricky, who used to sell the majority of Dark Lord cables on eBay, I can no longer find any of his cables in stock? He used to have another called White Angel which was the white/ clear version of Dark Lord. It is a shame he has stopped selling his cables?

I have recently gone for this cable for my IEM which uses Westone ports, the same seller has a version for TF10. It is silver plated and white / clear. ($60) I cannpt comment on this cable as I'm waiting on mine to arrive.

Due to Chinese New Year celebration most shipping / sellers from Honk Kong have major delays because everything backed up, that would probably explain why it's taking so long to receive your cable. Only after the 18th were some sellers getting back into the full swing of things. (Between the 5th and the 18th some ebay sellers took a break) and if they didn't delays at the airport to to their Chinese New Year would be large. I made sure I didn't order anything during that time.

Its actually the other way around Epic cables feel very cheap in comparison, tangle more, and are more expensive. They sound identical to me
