I just received the D777 from Aerberbach. I was planning to replace the stock earphone with the new e888 I bought not long ago. Found out that the remote on D777 has a different input jack than the e888. I am now using the D777 without the remote. It's awesome! Nevertheless, I still wish I could use the remote. Is there anyway of keeping the remote while using another earphone?

Yes, you need the Sony Micro-mini plug convertor. I got mine at the Sound Professionals:

Only $12, it took a while to arrive though.

I almost ate mine actually, it was sitting next to the beef jerky and I picked it up by accident. Ah well, wouldnt have tasted nice.

EDIT: I realized I don't need mine anymore, so if you want it you can PM me.

There are also two models of Sony Earphones that still use the micro-plug connector...

They are the MDR-E888MP and MDR-ED268MP
