i've got a pair of Shure in ear headphones that are in need of repair. Sound is only coming out of the right channel and I assume the problem is in the connector plug because fiddling around with it there can get the sound back occasionally.

i lack the skills to change the plug and am wondering if anyone could undertake this for me. I would be happy to pay you for your trouble...

sounds like an easy job. look for a diy-er in EU and pm.

Have you double-checked that it is the headphones? If not, try plugging them into a different source first and see if you still have the same problem.

yes, i've checked it with various sources. it's definitely the headphones.

to be honest, i'm quite disappointed with these Shures, but have already sunken the money into them. I contacted them and their standard charge for repairing them is ridiculous.
