i need a backlit remote for the 610..and i was wondering which ones would work for it..I know the radio will be sacrificed but i need to see in the dark!~

The MC11EL, I'm pretty sure that is the model number, works just fine with the 610. It's the remote that came with the better MD and CD players a few years a go (R900 and EJ925 for example).

Sony's remotes are backwards-compatible, meaning you can use the newest one on some of the older models. BTW, how well does the FM tuner work with your NF610?

awesome..its pretty good,but in some areas its just like hella static..it gets annoying sometimes!~
