Ive been looking at the Schiit Magni and a little of the Audio-GD nfb15 and it got me thinking, maybe there is a DIY option as well. The M2U puts 1.5w into 32 ohms and 320mw into 300 just a few. The Audio G is more powerful still....they dont have a 32 ohm measurement but it will do 3.5w into 25 1.8 into 50 300 into 300. Also the Magni has an output impedance of less than .2 ohms and the audio GD has one that less than 2 ohms. Most everything else is par for the course for commercial amps.

I'm just curious is there a DIY option that can do something like that for around the same money with better components...or less even?

There is the JDS Labs Objective 2 which can be purchased as a kit. It delivers 613mW into 33Ohms.

You think thats better than the other 2? There are plenty of pre built options for that one as well. Kinda looking for something that's at least better otherwise why bother
