I am thinking of buying equipment to measure my CIEM's.
I searched these forums a little for equipment that I would need.

I saw items on aliexpress for around $90 but is that worth anything and can i directly use those with a laptop?

My other idea was to buy a scarlett solo + ECM8000 and plug that into my laptop.

in both cases I need to make a coupler from the BA tube or earmold to the Mic.
Does anyone have any advise how to do this. I see some are using gum like material.
I was thinking of 3d printing a funnel on my resin printer.

Just use a simple tube and apply a linear compensation. It appears to works well enough to within +-1.5dB

Dayton imm-06 comes with a calibration file - I've had 3 so far and after applying their calibration they're largely the same.

Guys, in your measuring experience does cable rolling be "seen" in the FR chart?
There are more audible differences on ear tips rolling, so i suppose this can be reflected in the chart. Or not?

The cable should make no difference whatsoever in sound, measurable or otherwise, unless the IEM impedance is very low and cable impedance is very high.
