Red Nano Tomorrow

Looks like tomorrow there's going to be a red ipod nano. Anyone going to pick one up for charitable reasons or simply the color?

It sure look nice and it would be great if for any color sold ipod, apple would give 10$, not just on the red. It look better the U2 full size ipod in my opinion.

I won't buy it as I just bought one some weeks ago.

I would get one, only if it doesn't have any inscriptions on the back, other than the regular Apple stuff.

Bleh, the red version looks horrendous. Keep it simple with the black/white versions, Apple.

It's not U2 colors, but I'm partial to red with blue

I'm going to get one. I've always loved the look of ruby red anodized aluminum. IMHO, this is a much nicer color than the other current Nano colors.

^ Agreed with AlanY, I think the anodized red looks better than the current Nano colors. I think I may go for it.

It's better than the other ipod colours. I hate the "vibrant" green, blue and pink. The red is bareable. If you ask me though the best colour is silver because it shows the least amount of body scratches. The black is the best for looks. Colour is overated. But good on apple for donating 10$ on each ipod sold.

um haven't all of these U2 promos costed more than what they donated? so apple is actually making more while not giving away "their" money

if you're talking about the U2 ipods, then
a) those weren't involved in a charity
b) those cost more because they included both audio and videos of U2 from the itunes music store

if you're talking about this red charity drive costing more than they make, i have no knowledge of that.
