Hi there,

I used the KZ ZS5 with the TRN bluetooth cable (purchased a week ago) for nice wireless portable set.
Last night, due too many beers I lost one of the earpieces (d'oh!).

I thought about replacing them for another pair as I am happy with the BT setup, but I was wondering , which are the recommended IEMs right now (around 30/40$, could be higher if justified) that support the 0.75mm 2 pin cables?

Tried to look on the forum but all the 0.75mm discussions talk around the KZs

Thanks!

I think the TRN V20 is really good for its price, and has less of a pronounced v-shaped tuning than KZ. The matte surface is kind of weird to to the touch, which could bother some.

Reviews for the TRN V80 have been mixed but I think mostly positive, and some folks really love them. I haven't tried those myself, though.

I'm also interested... just discovered the chi-fi with a pair of ZSR, and now I have 4-5 other models in my aliexpress cart :p waiting to filter some of them... or more likely to add some other models :s

P.S. I'm curious about this. Is it that they are famous mostly in this forum or what? Because I've seen some other chi-fi blogs and there's plenty of other brands actually... this 2 charts for example:

KZs do have a particularly high profile (they're popular and prolific and also they're easier to find on Amazon then many other chifi labels).

FWIW note that the OP was asking specifically about IEMs with 0.75mm connectors. Lots of chifi IEMs have fixed cables, or MMCX connectors. And generally among 2-pin cables, 0.78 is more common than 0.75. I'm sure there are lots more using them than KZ and TRN, but I can't personally think of others offhand.
