I am looking for a portable amp. I have had my eyes on the mSEED Spirit for a couple weeks now, but I was hoping someone could give me a recommendation. I am looking to spend ~$150. I will be using my Grado SR80 and Etymotic ER6i with this, and it will be fed from a Zune. Obviously, sound quality is first, but I don't care too much about battery life. It also has to look decent.

Thank you,
Tri

I use a Corda Porta Usb III.....you'd have to buy a Corda porta without usb and get away with 160$.

Both amps the mSeed and the Porta Corda are fantastic and will provide many hours of enjoyment. However for a few dollars more I would get Dr. Xin's Supermicro IV. IMO it is the best portable amp that I have heard (about 22 or so) and it sells for $185 including S&H. Good luck.

The Supermicro is truly portable and awesome sounding (think disposable lighter size) but the wait for one is months long. Other than the wait I second mrarroyo's recommendation.

I don't want to have to wait forever to recieve my amp, so I think the supermicro is out. I don't really like its casing either.

Any other brands I should look into before making a final decision?

Did you think about iBasso t2? I reallyliked it with the Grado SR60, and I think its tonality would work well with Etymotics too.
