Ok. I have: SR80, er4s, HD600. Although the canalphones can become uncomfortable after a while, the HD600s seem to give me headaches very quickly. I'm not sure if it's the weight of the top of the band on my head or what. The SR80s, even with the flat pads, make my ears hurt instead of my head.

Another problem is that all of my sources seem too bright to me. Is there a phone that sounds good, but also emphasizes the midrange a bit, or de-emphasizes the high end without boosting the bass at all, and don't say the HD600

. I was thinking maybe one of the Audio Technica or Beyerdynamic phones might be a bit more emphasized on the midrange frequencies. Or maybe the Sony CD3000. Of course, flat is supposed to be the ideal, but maybe I have hearing damage or something.
