hi everyone, first post

i'm wondering what sort of recommendations people have for audio running out of a powerbook? i'm guessing something along the lines of the m-audio audiophile usb, or the firewire 410, just wondering what sort of options were available at different price points.

Hi panic689,

I have been using just the headphone jack to a portable amp. But you can use things like a portable DAC with USB connection, or something like Echo Indigo (I once considered but hard to source for me locally) which takes up a PCMCIA slot (depending on the size of your powerbook, I know 12' don't have PCMCIA slot)
