Greetings.

New here as of today. Looking for headphone recommandation for my new AK70 Mark 2 (closed and open).

Currently have B&W P5 Mark 2 and HD600. Both sound good, but I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions for even better sound without going to the thousand dollar level.

Specifically, a headphone whose characteristics more narrowly just match the AK70ii's charactersitcs and therefore sound synergistically better than a random combination of "good" heaphone and the AK70ii would sound.

You're preferences play a big role here. AKG K712 will give you flatter, more extended and cleaner bass response along with bigger soundstage, more instrument separation and more sparkly treble.
