Anyone out there have a recommendation for an over-ear fit in ear that sits somewhere in the sonic ballpark of a DT150?
There's always the Byron-- but I have to admit, for work, it's far easier for me to have an over-the-ear IEM, as I end up using my hands and yanking things out- and sadly the Beyers don't make one that works super well!
Any case-- I tried Audio Technica e40's and Shure 215s. The 215s were okay and super well built, just sort of dull, the e40's are super well built, and the upper mid honk drives me nuts. I've had luck with the old UE500's sonically, but the flat cable really didn't work really well. Last one I really bonded with was.. a beyer MMX- but again.. the form factor wasn't the best.
Anything out there with a good solid bass, fluidy midrange and unsibilant but present top end? (sorry if it sounds like a daggone advert for headphones everyone wants ).
Thanks all!
