Will try this question differently.. are there any very small amps (size of FiiO A1) that are high quality? My FiiO E6 bit the dust (it had issues from the time I purchased it). The goal is additional volume while working out but don't want to fatigue ears w/ loud, poor quality audio.. I don't use my iphone due to the added bulk, so don't want to get an amp the size of my iphone for that same reason.

Greatly appreciate any opinions.

What sources will you be plugging the amplifier into and what headphones do you use?

Thank you for replying.. I use a Mighty Audio player (Spotify) as source and MEE M6 Pro Monitors. The input and output are both 3.5mm in the current amp. The Mighty charges via mini usb, but don't believe that can be used as audio output.. so this limits my choices.

Mighty is also bluetooth so in theory I could use Earstudio ES100, but not sure if I would get the volume gains since I would be moving from wired to bluetooth

I ordered a FiiO a3 and an upgraded mini to mini. Will let folks know how this works
I have the older version of the FiiO A3 (E11?), it was fine at driving my 250-Ohm Beyer headphones.
